Today my store manager was giving people trenta iced lattes/fraps, splitting fraps into multiple cups, venti nitros (with no ice!!!) etc. Basic things I would have gotten my ass ripped for
I try to always read the weekly updates but sometimes I forget it/skip over parts by accident. So I don’t know if something has changed within policy or if it has to do with my new DM :/ he’s a super cool guy but I don’t want us to turn into “the other store that does things that aren’t allowed”

Here is what I know and some advice:
No policy has been changed with what you listed before. Nitro has never gotten ice but we still can’t sell venti nitros. I think it won’t even allow a venti nitro in the system same with the trenta Frappuccinos.
With the splitting Frappuccino’s into multiple cups it is technically against policy but when a person adds a lot of customs some people will not want to waste anything.
I think there is a rule that you have to talk to your SM BEFORE you go to your DM but I am not sure if that only applies to having problems with your SM in terms of discrimination or if it includes policy breaking.

i honestly think my DM has something to do w this. it’s convenient that as soon as he’s our dm we have to begin breaking policies to “make the moment right” (we were EXTREMELY strict on it before) so idk if it would be worth going to him

One of my shifts got on me for denying someone being able to split a venti frappe into 3 tall cups with whip and drizzle, saying I had to say yes when they asked if I could. Normally I would just say I wouldn’t be able to do that. But she got so aggressive with saying no. It may also be because our customer connection is in the 20’s but still no excuse for going against policy...

Just searched the basic policies for this on partner hub today. There have been no changes, espresso beverages and fraps can never be put into trenta cups, nitros are only grande or tall an ice cup can be provided separately.... the only recent change I recall is dairy substitutions get charged for shaken espressos.
