We aren’t allowed to do that at my store. We just let them order if it’s going to take a while we have them park and then we run it out.

we NEVER do that at my store. we always just have them sit in drive for 7 minutes while the line is already wrapped around the building. i don’t understand why it’s such a big deal to have people park out front and have us run it out.

We don’t ever turn it away, we just deal. If it’s something that’s going to take a while and we have the order ready for the next car we have them pull forward and run it out.

I wish we could but Starbucks is all about kissing customer ass so we cant

Take the order but make them pull around front

If it’s something like a beverage that we can put together quickly or something that takes like less than 30 seconds to warm, we just do it. If it’s a complicated drink order, or a food item that’s gonna take a bit to warm, we have them pull forward and we’ll run it out to them.

We’re not allowed to refuse them :/

there’s a lot of factors but when I think i can get away with it, my go to line is: “Unfortunately due to the line we’re unable to accommodate that today, I’m so sorry!“

My manager got furious at us once for having a customer pull up because they had ordered $70 worth of food and drink lol
