16 drinks....no tip.... (self.starbucksbaristas)

a customer came in and ordered 16 drinks at the drive through. we told them to pull around since it would hold up the line. when they came in, they picked apart all the drinks and even made us remake a few.
most of them had modifications and where highly specific.
pretty sure we didn’t receive a tip at all.
order came out to $80, paid with a $100, yet still no tip....? i understand times are though, but even $5 would have been fine. i’m just shocked honestly.

I’m sorry! Remember when restaurant workers were “essential heroes”? I know times are tough. I still slip a $20 in the tip jar every time a get my weekly latte, BECAUSE times are tough.... I know not everyone can, but geez Louise, at least the change? (Edited for a spelling error)

Thank you. I was a #275... then COVID. I’m a retiree and almost 60, honestly I just couldn’t keep up anymore. I know you are busting your collective rear ends. It’s the least I can do. I miss my coworkers like crazy, the stress ? Not so much.

at this point idk why starbucks doesn’t just have an automatic gratuity. it’s ridiculous. you should not be allowed to order that many drinks and then be able to just walk away without tipping the workers.

I went to subway last week and their tip jar looked so lame, I literally pulled out all the small bills from my purse and put it in there. Like, what stinger customers they are having right now.
