We would fill a pitcher with the hottest water we could and run that along with using the drain cleaner every night and most openings if we were slow. We tried out best to pull out any lost sharpies/refresher caps, (the biggest culprits) but at a certain point we just got a hold of the head repair/custodial guy at target (i forget his abbreviation, we were pretty close with him and I would see him a couple days a week.) and he put in an actual work order for our drains, since it was an actual clog problem. A professional guy came out and snaked them for us.
