I got covid catastrophe pay some weeks ago and im worried I may be at risk again soon bc of things out of my control. Are we able to get catastrophe pay more than once? Also how is it calculated? Also also: you know on ur paystub where it says "BEN hours" what does that mean??

They pay for 2 Covid catastrophe times....from my experience it was my average weekly hrs that I got paid for both times I used it.
BEN hrs on the check stub shows your hours that you worked within the time period (maybe a quarter --sorry if I'm not correct on that) so you can keep up with your eligibility to use your benefits. There is an amount of hours--not sure the actual one though that let's you keep/use your medical benefits that you have maybe? Sorry I'm not sure on that because I work enough hours to not need to keep up with mine or really know what that purpose is.

The Ben hours are calculated every 6 months (the audit is done on Jan 6 and jul 6)
Normally it’s 520 hours needed for benefits, but I think it’s 450 this time
