Short cappuccino, no foam. (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by AccordingBroccoli2
That's the drink. Had a guy order a short cappuccino, heavy cream (wtf) and no foam. SO A FUCKING LATTE MY GUY?!? I stared at the sticker for a minute just trying to wrap my head around a foamy drink, no foam. Some people shouldn't have access to the app.

People don’t know what it is but order it because it sound fancy

Tbh I blame gas station “cappuccinos,” you know the ones you press a button and it comes out but it says it’s some sort of French vanilla cappuccino 🙄

It's absolutely wild the things people order these days.

Straight up nostalgia in a cup for me

I’ve tried to explain to customers ordering a cappuccino no foam that it’s just a latte no foam (especially since there’s been times where their buddy ordered a latte no foam) and they just repeat their order louder lol

I can definitely understand a latte no foam but like a cappuccino which is 90% foam boggles my mind every time.

Or even, a no foam cappuccino would mean espresso shots and tiny amount of milk.

Wouldn't it just be easier to order a single macchiato with no foam and little milk? If that's what the person was trying to order.

Better that it's no foam over dry. Iirc heavy cream will not foam at all, making a dry cappuccino with heavy cream remains one of my nightmares (along with coconut milk iirc).

I had to make a short very dry cappuccino for the district manager so I steamed a tall amount of milk and used the spoon to drain the pitcher of liquid milk like I was making a no foam latte. I then took the foam left in the pitcher and filled his cup. He didn’t complain so a win

That's definitely easier than no foam.

I saw the heavy cream before the no foam part and was like "how the heck am I gonna do this?". The other milk I hate foaming and it takes a lot of practice is almond milk. I dread doing an almond milk cappuccino.

sounds like a regular of mine who decided to order an americano with no water and heavy cream and got mad because it was literally just shots and a bit of milk. I was overly cheerful when he asked what I thought I was handing him and said 'that's an americano with heavy cream and no milk just like you ordered!' he let me add water after that lol
