As long as you’re not worried about qualifying for benefits In the next eligibility period, you don’t need to work 20 hours a week, just stay active in the system. Your current benefits will be good until the end of September as long as you remain employed, regardless of how many hours you work.
But you can also quit June 1 and your benefits will be good until the end of the month.

Basically what I’m saying is if you quit, do it next Tuesday and you’ll have your healthcare until the end of June.
Also congrats on escaping! I need to get on that.

Thank you so much for the clarification! I won’t be starting until June 14th soooo...I might just say fuck it and get out. Good luck to you!

They do the eligibility audit July 6th so your benefits will be good until at least August!

Wait even if I leave the company June 14th?

The benefit audit in July is for the benefit period that goes from October until March. The audit we had last January was for the benefit period from April until September.
All benefits are good for the entire month you work so if you leave June 14th your benefits will be active until the end of June. You could take two weeks off at the end of June, work 1 shift in July and have benefits until the end of July.
