Question about declaring cash tips in my Partner Info (self.starbucksbaristas)

What happens if you don’t input your tips in partner info? My manager hasn’t said anything about it and when I ask her if it was required she had no answers for me! What should I do?

It’s technically required but nobody does. Nothing will happen if you don’t declare them

Nothing is going to happen, if you do not make over 400k a year the IRS could give 2 shits about you. Just enjoy your tip money its like 20-30 bucks for most people.

I just called and did it. It’s a pretty easy process. But they said to only do it if you get $20 or more in a months period. Technically I guess the IRS could come back and get us for even the smallest amount but I doubt it 🙃 report or don’t. I doubt it’s that big of an amount anyway
