I’m going back as a shift after not working for a year. Lucky for me, I broke my toe two days ago and I started my period today. Can’t wait to start at a brand new store while cranky, limping and in pain! Oh god this should be interesting.

Good luck! I find it helpful not to fight how crappy the day is and just accept that this day might suck, but it's only temporary and will be over soon. Also, sorry about your period, it just compounds everything else. Remember, you deserve kindness and self-compassion 😊
