my coworker today got a grande lemonade, no water with two blonde shots, i was very confused. apparently it’s a drink started by people in England (i believe) and it’s called a thunderstorm. she swears it tastes really good. also, my other coworkers says cold brew and lemonade is amazing.

As "unbelievable" as that is, I totally believe it. I often think about how much sugar people are accustomed to in their diets as Americans.
Like the daily max is around 26-30 grams of sugar per day, but pretty much most of the standard Venti drinks with syrups are around 20-25 grams of sugar, and that's without the extra this and that etc etc.
When things aren't sweet they don't "taste right" to people who are sugar addicted which is large amount of people. So adding something like lemon to something already kind of bitter like coffee is just heinous.
I kind of want to try it now...

Yes! I know it’s pretty common in Africa. I tried it the other day because we’ve been selling more lemonades with espresso lately and it’s definitely better with blonde espresso imo

I was shook when someone yesterday ordered half mango dragonfruit base and half guava base, no water, add vanilla sweet cream cold foam. SUGAR OVERLOAD.

It’s the lemon black ice tea with two shots all over again.
I once did several double takes and look at my former SM if she accidentally pressed it.
Evidentially, she did not. It was requested.
