I personally work in a Safeway starbucks, for us we cannot wear any jewelry at all. I would go on the safe side and ask your manager on your first day.

Good thing it’s a Starbucks and not a boring office job then. We have partners who wear necklaces/chokers similar to the one in the photo and I’ve never seen anyone judge them for it (except people who think it’s still the 60s 🥴)

Iirc the dress code says you can wear one necklace IF it can be tucked into your shirt. But so far as I know it’s never been enforced at my store. so like if you wanna wear it, wear it until you’re told otherwise idk 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi OP, I wear literally layered necklaces at work and no one has said anything about it, and I'm fairly certain that the dress code doesn't say anything about necklaces, only earrings, facial piercings, rings, and wrist jewelry

You don't ever deserve to feel like that and I honestly thought the choker is really cute! Just ignore them, they must be having a really bad day to be judging a total stranger on their accessory choices. I'm sad that it was fellow baristas though. You deserve to feel confident.
