Anyone else not get paid? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I’m a rehire and was supposed to get my first check last Friday but it never came and when I called about it I was told there was a glitch in the system and it was saying I was still a pre hire, that my paperwork never went through. Now I’m supposed wait around until my numbers work on the registers and once that happens I can have my manager request to have my check sent to me. Is anyone else dealing with this? Is there anything I can do??

If you can prove a need (like rent) your manager might be able to do a paid out for some of it, which you would then pay back when you receive your check. We had to do that for a few ppl when their paper checks got delayed by a snow storm several years ago.

Not gonna lie, a company withholding a check for whatever reason is never good, if your pay isn't in by like two on Sunday, I'd definitely email your DM.
