Training on a holiday?? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I just had my orientation today and received my training schedule. I’m suppose to start on Monday. Memorial Day. From 5:30am - 12pm. Will I be paid 1.5x my hourly rate? Or because I’m “in training” do I just receive my normal pay? Thanks in advance 😎

Everyone who works on a holiday gets holiday pay, whether training or not.

You training or not doesn’t affect your pay at all. You should also receive tip money for working that day.
