So you won’t be able to transfer from a corporate Starbucks to a target Starbucks. They’re completely separate companies, so you have to directly apply to the open position through target then put in your two weeks at starbucksn

I think them paying you 5$ more per hour is a pretty good excuse lol

Your also not required to give a reason. You can say you have personal reasons for wanting to transfer and leave it at that. You also just say its cause you really like target and want to work inside one

I have this idea in the back of my mind too to get that Target discount on diapers lol

Like someone else said, you can’t transfer to Target Starbucks, but can apply to Target to work as a Starbucks team member. You’ll get paid better as a Target employee, but there are far less benefits.(no tips, no free drinks/food). That pay increase is still probably more than you get with tips, but just consider all the pros and cons before changing employer.
Also- I started at Target, and I hated it, but that was 11 years ago now. Just expect to be alone regularly.

Maybe you're in a rut of some kind (financial, personal,, car troubles, whatever) and you need to stay/carpool with friends that work near there and it's "on the way" to that location. Mold this up however you like an I think it might just work! 😂

I've worked at a tarbucks for 2 years and I love it, by far the job that I've loved the most. And at the end of the day why work just as hard for less

Lol I have the opposite problem. I’m trying to make the jump from tarbucks to Starbucks corporate...at least at my store $15 an hour isn’t worth the mental trauma and mental/physical health issues it’s caused me
