Unless you’re making big money from tips it’s really not that bad. Worst case is you get a record of them and just file them in your next tax return yourself

I havent yet reported starbucks income (just started this year) but one year my boss and coworkers at another food service job found out I was reporting my tips and my boss said "why would you do that?"
You can report them all at the end of the year, but then you have to pay both your portion of taxes and the employers portion of taxes (which is what I ended up doing at that job :/ ). Most people just dont report them.

You can report on your taxes when you file them your total tips. Starbucks probably got in trouble because it randomly entered our tips on our taxes and lowballed it.
If you still don’t know how to record your tips follow these simple steps.
Log in, on a work device, to my partner info which contains all your pay information which can be found under the benefits tab on your partner hub. Once you remember your password or you can reset your password just find the tab close to the bottom to declare cash tips!
I know it’s annoying but it helps you keep track of how much money you make in tips before you spend it all on gas 😝

Our store lists a base amount of tips on our checks (I don'tthink it's the actual) . And digital are apparently on the stubs now.
The others are right. Unless you are making a couple hundred a week what you're probably actually getting is likely nothing to worry about.
If you were a $3.00/hr server, tips would be a bigger deal. But not here....

Pretty sure it’s not tax fraud until you file taxes and don’t report anything. I haven’t reported tips through Starbucks still, I just track them at home and report them all at once on my tax form.
