Finally quit! (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by sm0lbarista
I only been working with starbucks for about 9 months (I'm a 29) but it was enough to exhaust me. my sm was a real joke and is the reason A LOT of partners left my store before and after I got there. I was a barista trainer and the sm had been telling me for months he'd promote me to shift supervisor but never did and I was done with everything and I finally quit today! he even tried to keep me there by saying he'd promote me soon but even he if did I wouldn't stay with starbucks honestly. I worked so many double shifts and would always cover for everyone and literally killed myself to work for minimum for a company that doesn't even care about their employes and is so toxic. I'm glad I'm finally out of there imma miss my awesome team but mental health is always more important. (: just wanted to share my relief
