I work at a target Starbucks so I often get are you still open? Our lights are on I’m standing back here in my uniform and it’s the middle of the day so no. Of course we are read the room

I do that with the funnel cake frap!! They order it and I ask if it’s their first time trying it and when they say yes I’ll tell them “best of luck to you” and then come back with - “unless you’re prone to having a pallet for acquired tastes then it might taste a little wonky.”

I’ve been saying we really need a barista clap back day. just advertise what day it is. If somebody throws us attitude we get to give it right back. And if a customer has a problem with it well that’s too damn bad! maybe you shouldn’t have been rude to your barista on barista clap back day!!! I think it would really boost morale to have it like once a month

Yes exactly!! I was also thinking about a place in Chicago called Ed Debevic’s where they’re really sarcastic and snarky. And it’s fun for customers. We deserve that
