I started as a licensed store barista and moved on to be a partner for 4 years. It’s bittersweet to hang up the apron. I’m not sure if I will be back, but reflecting on my time here I would not trade it for the world. I really felt as though I was working for “one person, one cup, one neighborhood at a time.” For my first 3 years.

The bonds I made with my fellow partners and my customers will always be in my heart.

“People don’t leave bad jobs, they leave bad bosses.” And unfortunately it went all the way to the top.

I’m keeping my bean stock just to vote on company things.
