do you think its acceptable to ask for certain days off every month? not multiple days just one day off that is specific to stuff i do outside of work?

Absolutely yes. I can't quite tell whether you mean, like, the 3rd Tuesday of every month or something more frequent, like I can't work Fridays. But yes, you're entitled to days off, including above and beyond your usual 2 days (or whatever). Just enter the requests into the computer well in advance.

thank you ! my dog goes to the vet every month for a check up due to a medical treatment but its not always the same day out of the month so say June it would be the 12th but July it would be the 4th ! Just making sure because i would hate for my manger to think i am taking advantage of asking for days off !

I doubt if you are upfront about it that it will be seen as anything strange / unreasonable especially if you don’t call out often or take advantage in any way of scheduled time

yes I ask for Sunday’s off because it is my day of rest and I can’t tell you the amount of times I’m still scheduled and I’ve refused to come in cause I’m literally at church when they schedule me. They tell me to stop making excuses and just say I want the day off. Like no I’m a Christian you dumb hoe
