To get them covered properly? No, it wouldn't be bad at all. A two weeks notice is a courtesy so that the already-created schedule for the next two weeks can be adequately staffed; it's not mandatory, but strongly suggested to leave on a good note (e.g. if you want to work for the company again in the future).

i put my last 2 weeks in and of the 8 final shifts i had, 5 were covered without issue. as long as it’s properly covered and there’s no logistics or any other issues, it’s good. doesn’t matter who works as long as someone does.

you don’t owe corporate america anything. if you need a reference, cover them. if not, who cares?????????? they wouldn’t have given you two weeks to fire you.

As long as the shift is covered that's all that matters. I'd take the chance to put in your sick time, since that isn't paid out when you leave.

If you can get them covered, great. If you can’t, fuck em. Starbucks can’t give you a bad reference anyway. Time with your parents is far more important than time with Starbucks.
