Is it true you can’t wear bottoms with prints anymore? I used to wear black and gray striped pants, and I just got some half black, half blue, jeans that I was going to wear to work. But I was told I can’t? Is this true? And does it apply for tops too?

I have the same manager and they used to wear checkered pants, but out of nowhere just told me I had to stopped wearing my striped pants so I was confused.

Sounds like the DM probably noticed. Or a really petty customer complained it looked unprofessional. But very very likely the DM cracking down

I know full well what the Look Book says but I’m glad we’re not sticklers at my store. Personally I go by the book, but that’s my style. Some of my partners wear things that make me happy and I’d hate for them to have to stop. None of these things detract from the iconic green apron, which is the point of the Look Book anyway

I used to wear my striped pants just because it was my 5th pair of work jeans before having to do laundry. Lol But other than that, jeans and a solid black or navy blue shirt every day. But I feel with all the berating we have to deal with, the dress code could be a little bit more lenient.

They sound cute! One of our shifts wore patterned pants the other day. I think the partners photographed in the Look Book look great but it is more of a pacific northwest look and we are in the southeast so maybe our SM and DM won't be too focused on it, I hope. We have a new DM, she came through my drive through the other day, glad I know who she is!

We had our rm come through our drive thru one day and I’m just glad we were all actually being on our toes, and our teen girl partners weren’t wearing their usual crop tops. Lol
