How do raises work? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Green Bean here. How long after working do we get a raise? Is it automatic? Reflection of merit & work quality or length of time working?? I need to make more money. Lol!

As far as I know the company only gives everyone small raises (50 cents or less) each year. There were some long term baristas at my store making less than a dollar more than I was. I quit before I was ever offered a raise
