Lmao my old wonderful manager used to say to them “ can you tell me which store that is? They are breaking policy and need to be reported” and the customers would always shut their mouth and never mention it again 😹

I transferred around a lot as a shift, 4 stores in five years. Once had a regular come in when I was new to that store but definitely not new to the company tell me “But they do that for me at night.” So I told her “Oh. Who does? I’ll need to have a conversation with them because they shouldn’t be” 😂

I remember once I actually did this when I was new, still in my first 20 training hours, I took the order on DTO and the person on cold bar was also newer so they got exactly what they wanted that day lol

Once there was this super annoying lady that told us her other store always has her drink ready for her when she walks in. Although I didn’t say it to her, I told everybody working that they only have her drink ready so that they can get her tf outta there asap 😂

Had someone say this today, I told them that store shouldn’t be doing that, customer said they would stop asking for their drink that certain way at the other location so they (the partners) wouldn’t get in trouble! :)

Have this one guy that gets 6 shots and a side cup of steamed milk. Every day he throws a fit because he gets charged for the milk “after coming to this SBUX for 10 years!!!” Honestly I prob wouldn’t charge him if he wasn’t always rude, never tipped, and treated us like were his servants. ALWAYS says “the other Starbucks just charges me for shots because the milk is on the side.....” BUT ITS STEAMED YOU NITWIT. WE ARE SUPPOSED TO CHARGE FOR THAT. Like ordering a pike w 2% steamed milk added. It’s a misto, no matter how you order it.

I thought it was fine to give steamed milk on the side as long as its less than 4 oz? So half the short cup, any more than that we charge for. At least that's what we do at my store

I was told it doesn’t matter the amount of milk, if steamed we charge for it. “Extra” labor = extra charge
