I don’t know if this is just my store or what the deal is, but with those new(ish) brown caramel bottles we have had huge problems with the seal in the bottom metal part getting stretched so that it just leaked copious amounts all over the countertops. Does anybody else have this issue? I have a feeling that it’s due to partners running them through the wash, which warps the plastic.

It happens to us when people keep putting the them in the Hobart. Idk how many times I have to tell them not to, but after so many times through it they warp.

I think they really would only get warped if they’re shoved into a load and squished together instead of sitting normally

I’ve heard of this issue happening a lot but it’s not something that’s happened at our store (and we always put them in the Hobart)

You guys put syrups... in the dishwasher ? What the hell

Yeah that’s what I was thinking... that’s like against food health code to put syrup bottles in Hobart. The heat will make the chemicals seep into syrup
