Does anyone know how brevement works? I was told 3 days normally, then 4 days if you need to travel. Is that 3 8hour days of would it be 3 however many hours I average days?

2 days normally, 4 days if you need to travel. You are only paid if you are scheduled shifts those days to begin with.

That's the issue is that it's a planned ahead funeral and we don't have a schedule out yet

Then you probably won’t get bereavement unless you keep the date of the funeral from your SM, let them make the schedule, and then tell them.

If I'm remembering correctly, it also only covers prescheduled shifts.
