Ok so apparently everyone does it different but if someone asks for a quad shot in their frap how do you make it? I do -shots, milk to first line, into blender. Then I do everything else normal so it’s the same consistency. I had a coworker do-fraproast, milk to first line, into blender, shots into blender and then everything else into the blender. Mine was regular consistency but hers was complete liquid.

It’s shots into the cup, then frap roast + milk to the bottom line! Adding espresso to a Frappuccino does generally make it liquidy + increases the volume by quite a bit, especially a quad shot.

I pump frapp roast, pour my shots, and then do the milk slightly shy of the bottom line and do a healing scoop of whatever ice size. The espresso melts the ice so it’s not too icy or too thin. I’ve tried this myself, it’s delicious.

I do first one, like you do.

If you put 4 hot shots of espresso into an iced drink, it will melt. We're baristas, not magicians. We do not control the laws of physics.

That said, both of you are wrong. Frap roast + shots + milk to the line all need to go in the cup. You can do the shots first and then the roast, or roast first and then the shots, but all of 'em need to be in the cup. (I do the frap roast first so I don't splash espresso onto my arm.)

This. Also, if you do milk into the cup last, it does cool down the shots marginally, making the consistency a little better.

As others said, the standard is the shots and frap roast, and it will be quite liquidy, but you could either add more ice, or just make sure they know it'll be more of a liquid!
