Milk to the appropriate line in the shaker, 2/3/4 scoops of matcha, ice, shake, pour.
That being said, I almost always add a little extra milk so I can scoop some foam out. Otherwise I feel like they are getting way too much foam.
ETA: this is in the US. I believe in Canada there’s also classic syrup but I’m not sure.

I use the lid to drain the drink and then pour the ice. I used to scoop the foam but draining it is sooo much easier to me now!

It’s weird because I didn’t think there was classic in the recipe in the US but tbh I haven’t checked the Starbucks website. Anyways I make it the way you said (straining the liquid) but whenever I go to a corporate store somewhere else, they never have any foam at all in the drink. Even when I strain the drink there’s always at least a little foam on the top but this one store never has any

my store does it like this :
1. water to the tall base line 2. scoop of ice 3. 2/3/4 scoops of matcha 4. liquid cane sugar 5. shake 6. pour into cup 7. fill rest of cup with desired milk
(i hate making matcha drinks, and i have no idea if this is standard, but my manager does it this way too)

All the recipe cards are on the Store Resources app on the iPad. Just thought I'd throw that out there because it takes less time than the Hub.

my store always makes it in the foaming pitcher. just everything goes in and blended on 3. comes out super smooth with very little foam!
