Today’s big meanie of the day goes out to the man who ordered a grande mango dragon fruit lemonade.
He was unpleasant to the partner on register. When I tried to notify him we were out of dragon fruit inclusions, and asked if he would prefer another inclusion. He just looked at me like I was an idiot and walked away. So I made it strawberries.
He proceeds to chug it entirely. Trots over to the register, and begins to complain about the amount of ice in his drink. “This drink was 100% ice.” Etc etc
Acting like we personally did this to him out of spite.
Starbucks me takes over “how can we fix this for you?” Thinking he just wants to complain, or perhaps a refund (for the drink he had finished entirely.)
Then he raises his voice, “I want you to make me another stupid fucking drink. Is that so fucking hard?”
My coworker and I, almost in unison “sir there is no need for that kind of language. We are more than happy to remake your drink for you with less ice. Also in the future ordering your drink with less is always an option for you. Sorry about the misunderstanding.”
I was so upset I was shaking for a good 5 minutes.
Tl;dr
Man chugs drinks. Upset by the standard amount of ice. Violently demands another.

Oof. Im really bad about just taking mean people in stride and getting them out when they are nasty to me. But lord help the asshole who comes at one of my baristas. Not on my watch.
