I am no SM but i think the way SM pay is they are salaried (meaning fixed rate); hours may vary from week to week and even work after regular working hours hence they can adjust their clocks. But i could be wrong. This is pure speculation on my end.

Yeah I get what salaried means. I’m more wondering about how it is coded. It is coded as BOTH working in store but ALSO sick/vacation/personal day. So I’m wondering if he is double payed or if his hours are coming from the stores labor or his PTO budget. I couldn’t find a specific Starbucks SM place to ask this but it is kind of confusing if you don’t have access to partner hours scheduling to understand what I am asking.

I guess the best way to find out if u r up for the work is to see the rules on timekeeping and call the hotline for reporting if they will be of any help

I know the rules on time keeping, thank you. I’m trying to see if a SM on here has any experience or knows about this since what has been happening is not the standard so there is nothing in the PRM about it. I don’t need a failed barista explaining salaried to me and telling me to see the rules.
