Honestly, memorizing the drinks is the easiest part of the job Imo. Sure, there’s lots of drinks, but they all follow similar build standards. And iced teas/refreshers have the directions on the shaker lol.

Well, you will absolutely mess something up, several things in fact, maybe repeatedly. But your trainer won't allow you to mess up anything with important consequences, and they're expecting you to mess up, so you'll be right on track.
Real talk: I have worked with some people who are in fact just too slow. Either it is not in their makeup to be a quick moving person, or they're just not interested in making the effort. I've been here 9 years, 7 stores, trained dozens. I can still list those people by name because there just weren't that many of them. In all likelihood, you'll do great.
A fun anecdote for you: when I was learning to make my first Frappuccino, I was following the steps religiously. There is no step that says "put the lid on the blender." So I did not do that. Huge mess, trainer laughing her head off at me. I said, c'mon, I can't be the first person to do that! And she was like, "well, yeah, you are." A month or two goes by and I'm on bar, she's training someone new behind me at cold bar. Trainer slaps me to get my attention and just silently points to newbie, who is putting the frap onto the blender without a lid. She knew it was coming and rather than stopping her, she chose to accept the mess so I didn't feel so alone. I felt better. Have never forgotten that act of destructive care. Newbie and I bonded over it. We wrote step 5.5 (or whatever) on the training sticker so it says "put lid on."
