So my DT store just cannot hang onto people. Between tik tok, covid and a customer before partner work environment I think we've lost 9 people in the last two months. We've hired some green beans, but not enough, and they certainly can't keep up.
Would it be worth it to approach our SM/DM asking for a raise? Considering so many people are leaving and were the only ones who can still carry the floor? I doubt it would happen but also good luck without us

Worth a try. The worst they can do is not give you a raise.

Our dm came to our store and asked how they could help us out. And we all mentioned raises and they said that sorry but that it would mean raises for sm and that’s definitely not in the books any time soon. And I was genuinely mad. I was ready to walk away.

Ask your SM to put in a request for you to have a raise if you want. Ive gotten 3 (not including the 3% bs they do yearly which is really a cost of living adjustment)

I was told by my SM about a year ago that there’s no way for him to give us raises anymore. Was that incorrect? bc I’m not gonna be happy lol

Not sure if it is area based but in my area its def possible. It could also be your current DM refuses to give out raises for some reason and in that case your SM cant do anything.
