Y'all I'm so so so done. I haven't been this close to the verge of tears in a WHILE from customers. But god, they were bad today. Today was so bad. We were very understaffed and getting slammed like crazy. I can't even type out all that happened because it was just so much from so many angles. This job is not worth 11/hr. I'm so glad I'm leaving very soon.

Literally!! I'm a 279 and I put in my 2 weeks because it just isn't worth the stress anymore. Making drinks with so many modifications along with the customers has really taken a toll on me. People always say "well that's your job" but they don't understand how draining that is when you are doing it for 8 hours straight minus a 30 minute lunch and only one 10 since I never get my other one....

I’ve worked multiple food service jobs. NOTHING compares to the horrors and exhaustion of Starbucks. The customers can be literal demons (not all! But too many to ignore it as non significant in number) and the mental and physical exhaustion expected of partners is beyond being a reasonable ask of fast food employees- we’re not paid nearly enough.
