The other day our power was out at my cafe store in the morning, so we just sat inside chatting waiting for an electrician to show up. All lights off, all umbrellas down, no chairs out, and large sign on the door saying "closed due to power outage." People were still coming up to the door, trying it, then looking really confused at why the inside was so dark.

My thing is, our location is in a Target and we close at a certain time. Now, there is also another Starbucks DIRECTLY ACROSS THE PARKING LOT from us that's open much later. Why on earth are you bothering me when you can literally walk over there?! 😭😭😭😭 I just want one day where I can actually convey my disgust with people's behavior for the sake of coffee. 🤦🏾♀️

Sitting in my car after locking up the other day and saw a guy who WATCHED me lock the door try to go inside. I just stared in exhausted disbelief.

I love coffee, maybe not a much as the regulars that come in but, I do. But the see people act like the coffee will just up and disappear overnight. If it's that important to get your caffeine fix, just get a kureg and buy the syrups. Sheesh...

How about the woman I had midday peering inside our glass doors, I guess to see if we were open... couldn’t just try the door? Then proceeded to ask for a “paper” job application.
