Today i had a young boy try to order some secret menu frap he found on tiktok that had a ridiculous name (i can't even remember it) then when i said i don't know what that is he made me watch the damn tiktok and i swear you could SEE the life drain from my body as my eyes sunk and were half open as i slowly put in the order (which was way too many dumb ass add ins) and i felt like i was about to pass away from the sheer tiredness i felt front he entire interaction.


Please please stop coming up with ridiculous and complicated drinks for clout on tiktok. None of us get paid enough to make a drink with 12 modifications constantly in a single shift. I'm tired. My baristas are tired. I get it you're proud you came up with something that tastes good. just keep it to yourself and the coworkers you care about. Tiktok has been one of the (many) catalysts for making being a barista at starbucks so awful in recent years.
