I know a few places might see some outages on vanilla (I know we did) so my team is making whips with classic.
Dogs can't have the sweetener in the sugar free vanilla and it can kill them. So if someone asks for a pupuccino- I'd hate to have sfv in the mix.

Wait, what?! Please, please don’t make them with SF Vanilla! The sweetener is a fairly common allergy and isn’t disclosed on the website. That’s a lawsuit waiting to happen.

They aren't normally made with sugar free. I just know some people (not thinking about the pups) might do so to have whip creams available. I just wanted to bring it their attention

I’m VERY allergic to it. Two months ago, the sugar free vanilla pump got caught on my mask when I was doing syrups and it got on my face and I didn’t notice until I left work. I know have a scar right above my lip because of it.

I’m allergic as well! I try to avoid changing the pumps in those because I inevitably get it on my arm and break out.
I can’t imagine getting it on my mask though! That’s terrible!

I’m fairly positive there was an update about using classic if there was no vanilla, but that was weeks ago and I could be wrong.

The resource manual actually says to use classic, but most people miss it. So if you're low on vanilla, use classic.

The manager of the partner location I used to work at would have us exclusively make our sweet cream with SFV because we had a regular that requested it 4-5 times a week and she felt like it was easier to not have to make it special for her. I tried to bring up the allergic issue but was shot super hard :/

I actually looked this up today! All of the syrups are nut free, even the hazelnut and toffee nut. (I’m a partner with nut allergies and I wanted to try toffee nut today, can confirm I’m still alive lol)

I'm deathly allergic to hazelnut and I can't have toffee nut or hazelnut without my throat closing up or getting itchy, so there must be something in there that's related to actual hazelnuts lol

Most syrups have artificial flavorings that aren’t derived from the actual thing it’s supposed to taste of but always 2x labels obv.

lol. It was actually very popular with our regulars. some people did pass on it. But it didn’t matter much to me. I needed our short supply of vanilla for literally everything else 🥴😄

Lol i guess as long as you tell people. I just hate when we substitute stuff and people don't tell the customers. Just got allergy reasons and simply not looking the substitution. Like we are putting dark cr on everything now cuz we're out of regular and it's disgusting. And no one tells the customers lol.

Oh yeah. It’s a constant thing ya know. I’d always ask people. Would you like to hear the list of things I’m out of or the list of things I currently have? ie. hazelnut whipped cream because VSC and macchiatos are very popular.
