Me and my friend were attacked by an out-of-control customer that through coffee at us and punched the glass and was screaming he wouldn’t leave the lobby and he tried to come behind the counter and hurt us but Starbucks reacted by firing the girl that protected me(shift supervisor that did NOTHING wrong) And a couple weeks ago they separated me from the company because they said I should be able to return to work by now and what happened could not cause PTSD even though they have all of my therapist notes and my therapist says and my doctor that this event caused extreme PTSD and Starbucks threw me out the door along with the shift supervisor.
And they apologized to the customer and allowed him back without any problems and I was expected to come back to work and just deal with it.

Thank you so much I feel so betrayed by Starbucks like it was my favorite job ever and I was the partner of the quarter when it all happened and they just threw us out like garbage like it destroyed me and my life
And also Starbucks partner care strung me along for five months or so I had to talk to them once or twice a week and every time I had to explain the story again to each new person like they never typed it out or saved it anything I had to re-traumatize myself every single time and then at the end of it all they were just like nope we’re not gonna pay you for any of the time that you’ve been on leave they just threw me right out and didn’t pay me a penny since January
Like my therapist and doctor are in SHOCK they just can’t believe it what they’ve done and keep doing And put me through like they made my situation 1 billion times worse than it needed to be
