Alright I’m a month in. I’ll admit this job is chalanging and i can only imagine what it’s like at a busy store. But this is a sub where people vent about work. Not many people will talk up the job here. But don’t let people discourage you. If you have trouble remembering things just ask,99% of baristas will gladly answer any questions. The job has its bad moments. I’ll admit I’ve cried on the clock. But i genuinely like this job for the little moments. I work at a store without drivethru so i get more customer interactions. And sure you get the occasional group that wants food and drinks right now and will pester you. But for instance at my store there’s a regular who comes in and he’s just so awsome. I actually burned myself making his drink today. But just seeing the smile you can put on people’s faces makes the day for me.
