You're assigned... ~3-5? training shifts with the newbie and then you sort of guide them from there. You're responsible for that person's development for however long, but you get no pay raise; just a bonus $75 per trainee. That comes out to be one 8 hour shift's worth of pay if you make $9/hr.
You're pretty much free to build your own "curriculum" as well, but there is modules on the Hub that show you what to teach and how to structure it. You do the modules, take a test, and if you pass, you're certified, from what I remember. You should get lots of 1-on-1 time with your SM a lot to discuss what to do, how it's going, etc. and they'll meet with you to sort of train you on it.

You should be scheduled for a little training by your SM for this. I just trained my first green bean and used the modules on the iPad. Super efficient.
