That’s the thing, my manager writes little notes on the district sales chart like; “almost at 9k, lets push for 10!” or, “store ___ made x amount more than us lets try harder!” Like, who gives a fuck there are literally like 4 workers

Pretty sure managers are salaried. They are more suits than a shift but they are also still getting stiffed by corporate.

Whenever a manager did that shit some of us would say "ok, but we still get paid the same, yes?" and they'd always say "but if our sales go up, we'll get more hours."
We never got more hours.
If you want more sales, start paying commissions, bonuses, I mean shit, even a legit prize (you can keep your $5 iTunes card, I'm talking real prizes) would work.

Labor is such a fucking joke. I started keeping track of it, sales vs labor given vs labor earned. Sales increase 35%, labor increased ZERO, labor earned showed barely an hour more.
Stopped caring months ago, just "yup more sales more labor gotcha". Whatever happens.
