Best way to put in my 2 weeks (self.starbucksbaristas)

Hi y’all, I’ve been a barista since february. I got the job knowing it would be temporary, but since working at my store, I feel bad leaving my manager and my coworkers bc they’re all awesome. I just graduated and received an offer for an awesome salaried position, but I’m not sure how the best way to put in my 2 weeks would be…. Text? Email? A written note? Should I be apologetic at all or just firm?

A note and have a copy for yourself. Hand it in and wish them luck.
No need to feel guilty. Just say here is my two weeks. If they want to know why, it’s up to you to disclose but if they’re really good people, they should be happy for you.

Get your SM a cake that says “Sorry for your loss” and put your written (or typed and signed) two weeks notice in an envelope aside the cake!
