how do i use my protected sick hours (self.starbucksbaristas)

i already put in my two weeks on sunday and i forgot about my unused protected sick time. i only have 5.09 hrs available but i still wanted to use it but i dont actually wanna call out on the days that im scheduled. is there a way for me to use it? i heard employers are supposed to include it in your last check but im not sure if they do that here.
also tips get done on tuesdays but my last day is on a sunday, can i just walk in and get them? and about when do they disable our partner numbers?

Vacation pay is the only thing that gets paid out when you quit, sick pay is something you have to actually use. You can definitely get your tips after you leave. I’m not sure exactly when partner numbers are disabled.
Also, I low key stalked your page, sending love from one ex Muslim barista to another 💘 I know how hard it is to leave physically, financially, and psychologically. My situation isn’t as bad but it’s still tough overall. As soon as you’re 18, run.

helloo thank you for this info, and yess im a exmoose barista but eceryone still perceives me as one bc my parents make me wear hijab outside andit does hinder my confidence a lot while im working which is one of the only reasons i actually want to quit. other than that its not my choice but i gotta say having to quit my job and will make it a LOT harder to move when im 18
