I’ve been thinking about applying to my local Starbucks (it has no drive thru) I wanted to know what the pay is like (how much hourly, is it weekly or biweekly pay etc) I’m in FL!

so they pay will depend on the minimum wage in your area. here it's $15 and Starbucks started me out with $17. I also work at a store with no drive through, and I'm new myself having only been with them for just under 2 months.
the things you need to be good at this job are memory, patience, and flexibility. Memory for the drink making, because although there are guides to help you and recipe cards it'll speed things up a lot once you're able to remember most things (it takes time and everyone understands that, don't worry). patience with both customers and your coworkers. sometimes things don't work out right and sometimes we need to be kind and patient with each other during a rush. customers esp patience is good for lol. and flexibility bc you're going to be spending time in all the different roles and being able to accommodate the needs of your crew is important.
pay is biweekly. tips can be picked up every week on a certain day depending on your store.
I've enjoyed working here! very genuinely it's one of the best jobs I've had. the people I work with are all nice and the managers are kind people. I know I lucked out, as I've heard some bad stories but you'll never know until you get there what the environment will be like. it's fast paced, as any food job is, and there's a lot to remember but as long as you're willing to learn and make mistakes it's a fine job!
feel free to dm me if you have any more questions or want to know about anything in more detail!

Biweekly pay, $10/hour plus tips in FL afaik. Tips are paid out roughly weekly and divided among ~*partners*~ based on hours worked.
Get good at memorization and situational awareness. Do yoga both to keep your leg muscles nice and stretchy and also to develop the patience to deal with the third or so of your customers whose "moment" it will be difficult to "make happen".

been working here for almost a year, started at 9 and then got the 10% raise to 10 in January. busiest store in my state. I’m putting my 2 weeks in tmr bc I found an easier, quieter, less stressful job that pays more.
