I’ve only ever worked at cafe stores. What’s it like being at a DT? What are your current DT times? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Stressful beyond believe. Our times tend to be between 40-55 seconds when we’re fully staffed for peak

It's a lot faster paced, I would rather do cafe only or drive only, but both makes it harder. Typically around 44 seconds on a good day.

It’s a lot to handle. We average from 35-45 seconds. If you’re thinking about transferring. Try to go to a DT only store. Having the cafe adds some extra stress when you’re the only person on bar after peak with MOP

Our peak times are usually 45-55, depending on who’s there that day (we opened less than 6 months ago so most of us have been partners <1 year). I drive-thru bar during peak pretty much everyday day I’m there & I love it. Since I’m so busy it makes my shifts go by faster. It can be very stressful and fast-paced though

We barely hit 60, but our turnover is insane so half the ppl are new and we don’t have enough staff to support the store anyway. It can be stressful, but if you’ve got a good manager then things don’t feel too bad. My problem is our manager sucks lol

Our peak times are anywhere from 30-45 seconds. As soon as peak ends though we struggle to keep it under 60 seconds. We have a lot of new staff and all the experienced baristas are on peak. It makes sense but the newer staff can’t keep up just yet especially on Cold bar.

Our times are usually around 1:30. But we are severely understaffed. I remember way back when we were staffed it was more like 40-50 seconds. I actually prefer doing drive vs regular cafe - it’s a lot easier to build up a pace and just keep going all day.
