You got “sick”? Nausea is a sign of concussion. Can you get to a healthcare facility to be examined? And fill out an incident report or whatever. This sounds serious and if anything did come if it, you need the report to prove it happened at work. Go to a doctor and ask your SM how to report it

I did ask my SM. They laughed. I went to the walk in clinic and was told to rest and take ibuprofen as usual, I had concussions before

That was your SM? Shit. Can you insist that y’all at least fill out a form? Maybe go on partner hub and see if there’s more you can do or what’s the official protocol. And ok good, I’m glad you got medical attention and you’re ok lol

Thanks, I’ll check out the hub actually, hopefully something happens lol

Did they diagnose you with a concussion? If so, call Sedgewick and explain that you told your SM about it, showed the bruise and they did not file an incident report but you were diagnosed with a concussion after going to the doctor on your own dime.

call sedgewick (same number as facilities) and make a workplace injury report. just in case it's serious and requires medical attention you want to document it.

People can’t feel the pain for you so they won’t believe the level of severity unless you make an effort to. It sucks that we live in a workplace where an illness or injury is seen as a funny inconvenience and not a serious issue.
I’m sorry to hear about that, I do hope you’re okay and are doing better! Your manager should’ve definitely let everyone know about the injury and how it could be prevented in the future! Don’t be afraid to vocalize your pain and symptoms, this was an injury that was not your fault.
