Connecting my partner numbers to the Starbucks app (self.starbucksbaristas)

Does anyone know if you can connect your partner numbers to the app or how you connect them?

Dig around in the settings on the desktop version and you can find the option to attach your numbers.

You have to use the desktop site to do it. For some reason the app doesn't give you the option.

Any thoughts as to why when I attached my partner card to the app, it’s not applying the extra star (3 stars per dollar, as opposed to 2)?
