It’s not that serious, fam. It’s not like she’s giving them her partner numbers to use when she’s not there with them. That would be where I would draw the line. *Technically* she’s supposed to be the one to pay, but if her boyfriend or mom wants to pay, I mean, who cares? We don’t get paid enough to police something this small. Who’s stopping her from her mom/boyfriend giving her their card and using one of them to pay anyway? That could happen if you police it so it really wouldn’t matter. The only difference would be who hands you the card, if you really want to talk to her about it then just tell her she has to give you whoever’s money it is I guess.

Dude, they aren’t stealing someone else is just footing the bill. No one is stealing, she’s just using her discount. She’s not giving away trays of Frappuccinos. Why would stress over something so small?

Okay but listen to this - even if she pays that doesn’t guarantee she’s the one actually paying. Ex barista. I always “paid” but in reality I’d pay and then turn and get the $ owed or give their card back to whoever paid. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Its perfectly fine as long as the barista is in the car with them. The barista must be there to get the discount or mark out. They are family if you tattle all its gonna do is make her mom/dad give her the phone to pay with each time and now all of your coworkers will think you will rat them out on literally everything.
