Reasons I Facepalmed Today (self.starbucksbaristas)

A compilation of things that made me facepalm during my shift.
•"Can I get the Vanilla Bean Creme Cheese Frappé"
•Someone asked what came on the Grilled Cheese.
•Someone ordered a Caramel Frappuccino, when they got to the window they said "I meant to order the Caramel Macchiato"
•People were in our lobby taking pictures of the cups like the cups were models
•Multiple calls asking about cups
•Someone wanted an Iced Matcha Green Tea Latte with Brown Sugar Syrup
This is just one 6.5 hr shift.

This one woman had ordered two sandwiches. One impossible and one sausage. At the hand off she asks me which one was which. (Understandable because they look fairly similar.)
The first bag I open had the sausage cheddar. So I tells her this one is the sausage cheddar.
Without any time in between she follows up with “well then which one is this one?”
I remember saying “well if that one is the sausage, this must be the (I paused waiting for her to realize the only other possible answer to her question)…the impossible.”
I immediately walked to the back to laugh it off.

I am a closer for a year and a half. Now the block schedule’s not a thing anymore so today’s my first day working mid - from 12 til 6:30. And someone ordered delivery with this drink (only this one drink) :
