Tell me your store has a bad reputation without actually telling me your store has a bad reputation (self.starbucksbaristas)

I’ll go first. Stores outside of my district know how awful things are at my store in terms of understaffing, how busy we are, and our turnover rate. Nobody is applying to my store and at least 1 person quits a week. We’re the busiest in my district since we are one of the only DT stores 😀 the stores in my district are especially aware of all the problems at my location and literally everyone refuses to help out because it’s gone to such shit.

My old DM handed our store off to our new DM with very little discussion because “it’s broken beyond repair”.

Haha I basically work in hell

Went to get my markout out at another store- they asked where I worked. I told them to eh location- proceed to gasp give a look of pitty and apologize.

We've lost every one of our shifts... 3 times in the past 6 months

I use my mark outs at another store and they go “oh what store do you work at??” And I reply “the one in the mall” and they go “….oh….” Our store is like 250 square feet with a giant support beam in the middle of the area behind the bar and we’ve been through 4 SM’s in the past year 🙃

Not my store, but a neighboring store has a rep so bad that:

1. We have gotten calls from guests asking what is going on with said store
2. Their former manager and the partners never got along. Said manager quit without notice
3. The turnover rate is high and three or so shifts quit at about the same time
4. Our manager was dual-managing our store and theirs after the former manager left
5. Now our former manager is their permanent manager and we got a new one
