we had a guy come in and he called us all “useless bitches” because he was upset he had to wait 30 seconds to have his order taken
he really said “it’s just ridiculous that i have to stand here for 30 seconds while all you useless bitches stand and look at me. i mean, this is NOT how you run a business. and then i have to WAIT for my drinks?! absolutely unacceptable.”
incase you’re wondering, yes my SM ripped this guy a new one, he was given his money back and told to not return to our store unless he can treat us with proper respect.

Oh god I’m so glad he was put in his place and left empty handed. I’d have been ready to throw hands like what the fuck.
We got called “fucking retards” a few weeks ago and I’m so glad I wasn’t there. The guy is a regular now and he always acts sooo polite but everyone knows which customer he REALLY is.

Once some guy was calling a partner stupid and lacking common sense because they didn’t put a stopper in their drink (in the cafe and we didn’t have stoppers). I ended up telling him that while I understood he was upset that he couldn’t talk about a partner like that. He ended up getting angry and throwing his sugars at me all while screaming that were all stupid. Gave him the dm’s card and told him to leave the store. Luckily my manager and dm were on my side because I’ve been at stores were they wouldn’t have been

It's my day off. So I made a proper flat white on my home machine lol.
Yesterday was fun however. A partner took their 10, and then decided to dive away when it was their time to come back. I don't blame them. But a heads up would of been nice. 🙃

we’ve had people leave and not come back on their 10s and like, i get the job sucks but can’t you at least give the SSV a heads up so we have a plan?? idk i guess i just care about my coworkers too much to just leave them stranded without warning aha

My licensed store kiosk closes at 3 because we only have two baristas right now. Lady came up at 2:59, I had already gotten everything cleaned up and prepped for next day, told her I was closed. She stared at her watch, then told me it was only 2:59 and I don’t close until 3 and I WILL serve her. Again refused, had no tea anyway, and she not only complained to customer service but called both the grocery store corporate and Starbucks corporate on me. Half an hour later when I clocked out and left she was still there and she saw me and followed me to my vehicle while loudly telling whichever rep she was on the phone with “do you really want people like her representing your company? Has covid made you that desperate?”

Right? There are literally four other Starbucks in a three block radius, two corporate and two licensed. In the time it took her to call corporate numerous times and follow me, she could have gotten like 10 teas

I would have called the cops on her ass. Tell them that you have a stalker harassing you. Because she followed you from your place of work to your car and made you feel cornered and threatened.
