just got bitched at by a customer because she told me she wanted her 4 brownies and 2 cookies warmed and then at the window screamed and said she didn’t want them warmed and kept in plastic. i told i’m sorry and i couldn’t do anything because she took the last 4 brownies.

Some people should really just take a deep breath every once in a while. The brownies arent even heated very long, therefore wouldnt take long to cool but I can see how this is too much for some

it’s not even that, she just kept saying she was giving them to someone and didn’t want them warmed and she kept telling me i was lying when she said she wanted them warmed which is what made me angry.

I feel like a growing portion of my customers just come to bux so they can get a dopamine hit from starting a fight. Maybe they get it just from belittling/berating others. Usually they're pretty excellent at knowing exactly how far they can push it into making the barista miserable without anyone actually calling them out.
What helps me is remembering how fuckin' sad these people are. Not like "I'm sure they're really in great pain", but like "that person is a bad joke".
Fuck 'em.
